So I am at work now, we always have CNN on which quickly becomes annoying. They cover the most ridiculous things so ridiculously. Either they cover too much for to little time, or more often cover too little for too much time. A couple of weeks ago, a perfect case in point, a helicopter crashed into Long Island sound which forced CNN to immediately cut into the feed of an affiliate. The reporter breathlessly reported that the helicopter crashed, and then proceeded to segue between babbling and nothing for about 35 minutes. On the other hand, last week we were treated to BIG FAT HURICANE THAT RAINS A LOT AND SUPER WINDY, BUT TOO PUSSYASS TO KILL ANYONE all day every day. Today, there was a small explosion in London, I would like to repeat and emphasize small explosion, which caused them to cover live from the City the whole day. After seven hours, all I know is that one small bomb went off; and the other didn’t because the bomb maker screwed up. That’s it, seven hours, and that’s all I know. I almost feel bad for the bomber. He was right on the cusp of being a martyr, not something I want to be, but it is noble in sociopath-like sort of way; now he is just the incompetent boob that made his boss look bad and spend the rest of his life in jail. But what pisses me off most about CNN is the fact that Rush Limbaugh is dating one of the anchors.
